It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William James Mc Atee Jr. (Billy) of Pacifica CA. Billy passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 2, 2025 at the age of 60. He was born April 3, 1964 in San Francisco to the late William and Virginia (Malucelli) Mc Atee. Billy grew up in San Carlos and was a graduate of Carlmont High School class of 1983.

A second generation San Francisco Electrician and Proud 35 year member of IBEW Local #6. Billy was an avid Giants, Warriors and 49er fan where he was a season ticket holder for 36 years. A true outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball and golf.

Upon his retirement from the Electrical Industry he fulfilled his lifelong dream with his faithful dog Tilly of traveling and seeing our National Parks.

Billy is survived by his children JJ (Kelly) Sokoloski and Kayla (Cody) DeAlba. Grandchildren Hank Sokoloski, Connor, Gavin and Tucker DeAlba. Brother Dan (Laura) Mc Atee, Sisters Jill (Monte) Roux and Kim (Roland) Garrido. Nieces Angela Mc Atee, Kristina (Dylan) Garrido Petro and Morgan Roux. Nephew's Brian (Tamar) Mc Atee, Kevin and Hayden (Alicyn) Roux. Auntie Doris (Malucelli) Sanders. Cousins Bobby and Killeen Sanders.

Friends are invited to the Funeral Mass on Monday March 17th at 11:00 am at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1040-Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, CA. 94002. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma followed by a celebration of life at Sharp Park Golf Course in Pacifica.
