William "Will"
Hill
December 19, 1947 – February 20, 2026
William "Will" Hill passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 78.
Born in Fairfield, Connecticut and raised in San Carlos, California, Will was endlessly curious about how things worked, and often how to make them go faster. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a degree in aeronautical engineering, pairing his sharp intelligence with a natural talent for problem-solving and design.
As the proud owner of Minuteman Press of Concord, Will built more than a business, he built lasting relationships. Known for his humor, warmth, and quick wit, he took genuine pride in his work and in the people he worked alongside.
He loved racing cars, riding motorcycles, and any excuse to feel the hum of an engine beneath him. Above all, he cherished time with close friends, family, and his beloved cats.
Will is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Thompson, and his son-in-law, Reed Froehlich. To honor his wishes, he was cremated and no formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Will's honor to East Bay SPCA, The Wilderness Society, Feed the Children, or Joybound.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
