It is with overwhelming sadness to announce the death of the "heart and soul" of our family. Terry Jack Webb, of Redwood City, passed away on Sunday, July 16, of natural causes, at 74. Born to Jack and Franna Webb, on March 23, 1949, in Anacortes, Washington.
From as early as adolescence, he was an adventure seeker. Before the age of 18, Terry spent two summers working as an Alaskan fisherman. The tone was set for a life of hard work before graduating from Sequoia High School in 1968. Terry was an avid sportsman and his hobbies included track, baseball, fishing and hunting. He had a passion for the outdoors, which carved the path of endless camping and hunting experiences with his family, exploring the beauty of all California has to offer, in its mountainous terrain. The memories are far too many to list, but forever engrained in our hearts. Terry went on to work under his father's business, Webb Plumbing and Heating. He then started Webb Electric, where he passed on the trade to his son Jeff, who took over the family business.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Michele. whom he shared a closeness and bond that truly could not be replicated; his three adoring children, Jennifer, Jeffrey and Jessica; his 10 grandchildren, Audrey, Tess, Helena, Michael, Matthew, Parker, William, Scarlett, Savanna and Alijah; his sisters, Maria Sharon and Barbara Webb and his nieces and nephews, who each had a special place in his heart. Terry was predeceased by his brother, Charlie, his sister, Elvera, and his parents, Jack and Franna Webb.
Our hero, the legend, may you rest in peace.
"All their life in this world and all their adventures had only been the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story which no one on Earth has read: who goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before."
