Ronald Allister Dunn passed away at his home in Sunnyvale on Thursday, November 24, 2022. Ron was born on June 23, 1962 in San Francisco, the first son of Carol and Charles Dunn. Ron is survived by his father Charles, sister Kristine Phillips, brother Robert Dunn, Aunts Doreen Sonntag and Harriett Sullivan, Uncle Frank Petterson, plus many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends whom shared his life, Ron was a warm and caring person who is already missed by all who knew him. Ron spent 4 years in the US Navy. Following his service in the Navy he worked for Watkins Johnson, Raytheon and most recently for Teledyne Microwave Systems in Mountain View, California. Ron was an avid sports fan, rooting for Stanford Teams, the SF Giants and SF 49ers. Ron enjoyed Biking trips, of up to 25 or 30 miles, with his friends. There will be a Celebration of Life at Crippen & Flynn Funeral Home, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City, California at Noon on Saturday, January 14, 2022.
