Randi Ghiotto
Snider
September 25, 1946 – January 29, 2024
Randi Snider passed away peacefully at home on Sunday January 29th 2024. She will be deeply missed, but her life will always be remembered as one rich in passion and adventure. She touched the hearts of everyone lucky enough to know her.
She graduated Cal State LA where she earned a teaching credential and taught high school English at Woodrow Wilson High School in Los Angeles. After college Randi took a summer trip with her best friend Gaby... exploring all of Europe and she was hooked! she had been bitten by the travel bug and now dreamt of one ay seeing the world. Several years later she was introduced to, and married her loving and devoted husband Archie Snider. They connected over a shared love of adventure, and their lives became full with travel and exciting experiences. Their love was a testament to the enduring power of a true partnership, as they shared 45 beautiful years together.
Randi was a certified scuba diver, avid skier and general sports enthusiast. She was very knowledgeable about many of the players and game stats for several teams including, football, basketball and Formula 1 racing.
She also was a quick study, and a fierce competitor. She entered the horseshow circuit, and had a long successful career competing in many local and national jumping competitions. She alongside her husband, enjoyed the thrill of racing Spec Racer cars. When she was no longer riding or racing, she enjoyed spending time in, and maintaining her stately gardens.
Randi was a talented and remarkable woman with a great sense of humor. Her quick wit could turn any situation into a moment of laughter, and she had the unique ability to make you feel at ease. She was perpetually curious, which led her to explore new places, cultures and experiences. She was beautiful, intelligent kind and compassionate. Her generosity had no bounds and she will be very sadly missed by all that knew her.
