Paula Kathryn Petropoulos. September 20, 1950 - August 31, 2024
Born September 20, 1950 to Madelaine and Andrew Petropoulos, Paula Kathryn passed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 73 years old. Paula Kathryn "PK" was an accomplished artist, specializing in acrylic paintings and weaving. Many of her works were displayed at local galleries and co-ops. Paula was also a licensed pilot and took great joy in flying her parents to lunch at the Nut Tree "just because". Paula is predeceased by her parents, Madelaine and Andrew, and sisters Audrey and Stephanie. She is survived by nieces Madelynn McClain (Chris); Molly McClain, and Maggie Carmona (Javier) and other loving family members. Paula was extremely close to her cousins Jim (Diane) and John (Aleta) Mathios, who were more like brothers. Until his passing in 2008, Jim provided unwavering support, love, and care throughout her life. John continued that commitment until her death. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Burlingame Presbyterian Church.
