Obituary

Nada Andrich Barulich was born on September 12, 1932, in the town of Blato on the island Korcula in her beautiful home country of Croatia. She passed away peacefully in San Carlos, California on March 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family and caregivers.
Nada was a loving, generous, faithful, and extremely talented woman who always put her whole heart and soul into everything she did.
Beautiful both inside and out, Nada was an amazing mother who supported her children in every way. Nada was always ready to help whenever there was a need, especially if the need involved her cooking and crafting skills. Nada spent countless hours volunteering at her various parishes and children's schools over the decades. Nada treasured family, friends and faith and devoted herself to being in service of others. Although she was never employed outside the home after marrying the love of her life, John, in 1958, she would have easily made the Forbes list of top "Chief Home Officers" if there was such recognition
She was preceded in death by her dear husband, John A. Barulich, her parents, Jerry and Maria Andrich, siblings Jerko, Maria, Ivan, Anka, and Anthony. She is survived by her five adoring children, David (Anne), Kathy Ryan (Tom), Theresa Rutledge (Steve), Gregory (Becky), and Marianne Tracy (Todd) as well as nine grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Baba," Daniel Barulich, Alex Barulich, Jonathan Rutledge (Angela), Anastasia Barulich (Cary), Matthew Ryan, Nadia Barulich, Michael Rutledge (Rileigh), Grace Ryan (Ryan Byrne) and Kerianne Ryan. Also survived by her nieces Gordana Telenta, Christina Fischer (Craig), Diana Smith (Harrison) and Laurie Andrich (Sarah).
The family would like to thank Albi, Doris, Jojie, Lita and Tregie, for their devoted care in the final months of mom's life.
