Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our sister and aunt Mary Louise Liberati, who left us on July 1st, 2024, after a beautifully lived life. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Redwood City, California on July 9th, at 11 am. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.
Born in San Francisco California on August 11, 1944 to loving parents Luigi and Filomena Liberati. She grew up in the North Beach neighborhood in San Francisco, where she went to St. Peter and Paul's catholic school.  Mary Louise moved to Redwood City, graduating from Mt. Carmel Grammar School, and later, from Sequoia High School in 1962.
After graduation, she started her long career at Sequoia Hospital, where she worked in the accounting department. Later, she attended Notre dame de Namur university in Belmont while working full time at night.
Louise went on to a successful career working for Sequoia Hospital and Catholic Healthcare west.
She was a loving aunt to four nephews Ivan, Alan, Leon, and Greg. Great aunt to Anthony, Elizabeth, Samantha, Joseph, Brittany, and Jessica. Louise's death has left a great emptiness in our lives. We will always cherish the unconditional love and support she gave all of us.
