Marjorie Elaine Belfort

Marjorie Elaine Belfort, of Sunnyvale, California, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Born on March 14, 1929, in Pittsburg, California, Marjorie was the beloved daughter of Mike and Florinda Coradi. She grew up in Menlo Park with her grandmother, Mary Paris, and went on to meet the love of her life, Louis Belfort, at beauty school. Louis and Marjorie were later married and started a family in Redwood City, California. In her earlier years, Marjorie was a caretaker for family members and their children. She later began her career at Roosevelt Elementary School as a cafeteria worker. Marjorie was loved by all the children at school and was often called Grandma.

Marjorie will be remembered for her humor, kindness and generosity. She touched the lives of many through her personal relationships.

Marjorie is survived by her son Dorian Belfort and wife Lori Belfort of Kingston, MA, grandchildren John Belfort, of Plymouth, MA and Brianna Rose Belfort of Kingston, Ma., many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that became family, Edward Silva, Dominica Gotelli, Lynne Ireland Davis, Stephanie Ronco, Arlene Mariani, Jan Morey, Stevie Skrabo, Felipe Nistal, Deborah Uharriet, Sandra Payne, and the Van Roekel Family and preceded in death by her husband of 71 years Louis Belfort and her sister, RoseMarie Matchak.

A burial service will be held at 1pm May 22, 2026, at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, CA. Friends and family are welcome to attend and share memories. Forever in our hearts, your light will never fade. “See you around like a donut” … “Too Da Lu”
