Lidia Medeiros Chagonjian, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born on December 28, 1932, on the island of Sao Miguel one of the Azores Islands in Portugual.

Lidia was an Eastern Star for over 50 years. She worked for the Navy as a contract specialist for 16 years and received numerous awards of merit for her service. She retired in 1997 to care for her husband Archie Chagonjian and was widowed in 2005.

Lidia found joy in gardening, baking, knitting, reading, sewing, and spending time with loved ones. She also enjoyed traveling, especially cruises and trips to Europe.

She is survived by her three daughters, Karen (Robert) Mihalek, Lynn Chagonjian, Beth (Bruce) Chagonjian Bohannan; and four grandchildren, Richard Mihalek, Sarah Mihalek, Madison Bohannan, and Maximillian Bohannan.
