Larry Dan Carini, 64, of Redwood City, California, passed away on November 26, 2024. Born to Frances and Peter Carini, Larry spent his life as a devoted son, brother, and friend, remembered for his sharp sense of humor, warm heart, and generous spirit.
Larry attended Lincoln School, McKinley School, and Sequoia High School. A master auto painter by trade, Larry poured his artistry and dedication into his work, earning admiration from all who knew him.
Outside of work, Larry was a true Renaissance man, with a deep love for motorcycles, guitar, and live music. He cherished attending concerts with friends and sharing his zest for life. At home, Larry's talents extended to cooking and gardening, where his love for flowers brought vibrant beauty to those around him. His care for his mother was evident in his devotion to her, with whom he shared countless walks and moments of laughter.
Larry is survived by his loving siblings: Joseph Carini (Karen), Tina Peterson (Mike), Frank Carini (Darcy), Peter Carini (Lourdes), Gina Davis (Rick), Mary Kenny (Jack), Patty Carini-Mills, and Giovanni Carini (Kathy). Countless nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Carini-Carrion, and brother, Tony Carini. Larry's legacy will live on through his family, who will forever treasure his love, humor, and loyalty.
Services will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Crippen and Flynn Woodside Chapel, 9:30am Rosary and viewing and services at 10:30am with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos. A reception to celebrate Larry's life will take place at Harry's Hofbrau at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome.
