Together we mourn the unexpected loss of our cherished father and beloved husband, Kim
Reza Shah, on 2/23/26.
Born in Florida and raised in Redwood City, Kim's magnetic energy and charisma drew people
to him in every stage of his life.
Kim had a rare gift for comforting and healing those around him. With deep empathy and a
passion for learning, Kim had a keen understanding of both the mind and the heart with equal
depth. These attributes shined throughout his personal life and his 30 year career as a Fire
Captain/Paramedic for Burlingame/Central County Fire.
His fervent commitment to his Catholic faith was the cornerstone of Kim's daily life. As a
devoted disciple of Christ, he was an active parishioner of both Mt. Carmel and St. Pius Church.
In the wake of his passing, Kim now reaps the ultimate comfort as he rests in the loving hands
of our Heavenly Father.

Kim is survived by his wife, Suzanne Shah, and three children, Nicole, Toni and Brenden.

Funeral services are being held on March 7th, 2026 at St. Pius Catholic Church. The funeral
Mass will begin at 11:00am, however, an opportunity to visit with the family will be held at
10:30am. A private family Interment will follow the church service.
