Jon M. Stedman

Jon M. Stedman passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on March 21, 2026 in Redwood City, California after a long illness. He was born in Palo Alto, California on September 27, 1939 to parents Marcus and Elizabeth Stedman and grew up in Palo Alto. He graduated from Palo Alto High School in 1957 and then from Colorado College in 1962. From there he went on to receive an MBA from Stanford University and worked for years as a CPA. For the greater part of his career he was CFO for a large engineering firm in San Francisco

Jon was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Sandrine. He is survived by his son, Thomas and by his sisters, Janet Gibson (Lay), and Jean Robertson as well as his two nephews, Stephen Gibson (Melissa) and James Gibson (Stacy).

Jon's family wishes to thank Vivian Fragiacomo, the caregivers and staff at Abigail Complete Senior Care in Redwood City and Dr. Mehrdad Ayati for the exceptional care he received during the last two years of his life.
