John Gregory Jolly

John Gregory Jolly was born on August 4, 2026, to his parents, John and Caitlin Jolly of Menlo Park, CA. As the youngest of four Jolly boys, John was eagerly awaited by his three brothers, Andrew (8), James (5), and Nathaniel (2). He is also survived by his grandparents, Greg and Doris Williams and Nina Jolly; aunts and uncles, Joseph (Christa) Jolly, Joshua (Amanda) Jolly, Hannah (Jordan) Brooks, and Elise (Montana) Hefner; and cousins Bethany Causey and Brandon, Annalise, Kyle, and Carter Jolly. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hal Jolly. 

Little John was diagnosed with triploidy, and though this genetic condition rendered his life on earth short, every bit of it was cherished. A funeral mass will be celebrated for John Gregory at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 17th, in the main chapel at St. Patrick’s Seminary (320 Middlefield Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025). A private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Menlo Park will follow at 2:00 p.m. 

Gifts in memory of John’s life may be made in support of priestly formation to St. Patrick’s Seminary, or to Chesterton Academy of St. James in Menlo Park. Our family is deeply grateful for the support we have received from both of these communities.
