John left a huge hole in his family when he left us on 10/13/2022. His struggles with Parkinson's Disease are over and he is free to walk and drive again. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Susan and two daughters, Kimberley Bassett and Jennifer (Tom) Gracy. He loved his grandson, Nikolas Bassett. His sisters, Lucy Sandoval and Mary Zigabarra were great support. His many nieces and nephews were the source of joy. Family get togethers were always a crowd, lots of laughter.

John worked in IT as a consultant for over 50 years. He volunteered with San Mateo County 4-H for many years. He loved to travel and drive.

Memorial Service on Saturday 10/29/22 at Crippen and Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City from noon – 3pm.
