Jesus Ivan Rios Santacruz

With deep sorrow and even deeper love, we say goodbye to Jesus, who passed away on May 12, 2026, leaving an immense void in the hearts of all who had the joy of knowing him.

Jesus was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend. He was known for his charisma, his joyful spirit, and his great sense of humor. He always had a smile, a joke, and a gift for making everyone around him feel special. He was, in every way, an exceptional person.

He lived life fully. He loved camping, hosting get-togethers, cycling, going for long walks, and visiting San Francisco. Above all, he treasured time with his family and friends — and with Nicolas and Santiago, “the Puggies,” whom he walked faithfully and shared so many special moments with.

Jesus was hard-working and deeply kind with a thoughtful reserve. Those who had the privilege of knowing him closely came to understand the greatness and nobility of his heart.

He carries with him the love of everyone who cherished him. He leaves behind his siblings, his nieces and nephews, and all those who loved him so dearly — but his memory will live on forever in each of them.

He was preceded by his beloved mother Regina and his brother in law Patrick who will welcome him in heaven with loving open arms, alongside the puggies Gretta, Austin, Nicholas, and Santiago. We hope that when we meet again, he will greet us with the same joy and excitement as always — with his barbecues, his laughter, and his singular way of making everyone feel at home.

Until we meet again in paradise.

Rest in peace, Jesus Ivan. He will live forever in our memories and in our hearts.
