Jeanne Nordness passed away on May 24, 2025. Jeanne is survived by her sons Craig (wife Karen) Steven (wife Andrea) daughters Kim (wife Christina) Jenny (husband Kory and their sons Madok & Bodie). Preceded in death by husband Edward Nordness, daughter Kristen Nordness & sister Jerri Andersen.
Jeanne was born on September 29,1935 in Napa, California to Fred & Lottie Gibbs. She was the youngest of two children.
Jeanne attended Sequoia High School & later received her Bachelor of Arts degree from San Jose State University where she was also a sister of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
Jeanne was a very talented watercolor painter. She was a member of the Society of Western Artists. She would showcase her artwork at local shows & would come home with many accolades.
Towards the end of her life she was able to be at home, in San Carlos CA, which was her wish! Our family was very fortunate to have the best caregiver in her presence for the last two years & seven months. We couldn't have done this without you Wati! The bond these two created was so special & Wati became a part of our family!
Jeanne loved her family unconditionally & lived the last ten & a half years without her beloved husband...now they are together again, dancing, laughing & drinking fine wine!
