With heavy hearts, we share that Heidi Cournoyer, 68, of Redwood City, California, "flew away" peacefully on October 16, 2025. Born in San Francisco on January 16, 1957, to Frieda and Henry Siewertsen, Heidi brought warmth, humor, and kindness to everyone lucky enough to know her.

Heidi was known for her loving and caring nature - the kind of person who would drop everything to help a friend or family member. Her quick wit and sense of humor could light up a room, and her laughter was truly contagious. She loved life's simple joys: going out to lunch with friends, taking long drives, and counting deer along the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frieda and Henry Siewertsen, and by Harry Cournoyer. She is survived by her two children, Katie and Cody Cournoyer; her two sisters, Ingrid Marsh (John Marsh) and Elke Sponseller; and a large extended family, along with many dear friends who were like family to her - each holding a special place in her heart.

Heidi will be remembered for her generosity, compassion, humor, and the way she made everyone feel loved. Her memory will continue to bring smiles and stories to those who knew her best.

A celebration of Heidi's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to share memories and laughter.
