Franz L. Cristiani
1941 - 2024

Died on May 15, 2024 at the age of 82. He was a native of San Francisco.

Family was very important to Franz. He is survived by Joanne, his loving wife of 54 years. Devoted father of Laura (Joseph) and their daughter, Sofia; and Dan (Corinne) and their daughter, Zuzu and son, Calen. Son of the late Leonard and Irmgard Cristiani. Loving brother of Cris (Shelly) Cristiani, the late Victor (Lucille) Cristiani and Anita (the late Dan) Cunningham. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Franz was a retired (1999) partner of Arthur Andersen & Co. and served in its San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Copenhagen (Denmark) and Brussels (Belgium) offices. After 35 years with Arthur Andersen, he served on the board of directors at several public and non-profit organizations and was also an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco's graduate school of business. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Crippen & Flynn Chapel, 1111 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, California.
