Obituary

Espiridion "Piria" Revuelta Torres was born on March 11, 1942 in the Pitayo ranch, Michoacán. Son of Isidro Revuelta and Jovita Torres. At the age of 14 he developed a love for harp group music. Learning to play the guitar, vihuela and violin. Continuing his profession as a musician for 68 years.

In 1964 he met the great love of his life, Miss Ana María Sánchez. Coinciding with a wedding where his then harp group called "El Grupo Los Revueltas" composed of him and his brothers, Rubén and Elias provided entertainment during the celebration. In 1967 they married, later emigrating to Redwood City, California in 1977, where they lived happily married for 58 years. Espiridion ("Piria" Revuelta Torres), who until now resided in Redwood City, California, died on April 11, 2024 at the age of 82 at Saint Mary's Hospital in San Francisco, California.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ana María Revuelta, his 7 children; Arnoldo, Hortencia (Enrique), Daniel (Lucia), Bertha Alicia (Humberto), Lupe (Alfredo), Ana Maria (Eddie), Jesse (Laura), 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
