Esperanza was born in Aguililla, Michoacán Mexico on August 9, 1959 and was the oldest of 8 siblings. Esperanza came to the United States in 1979 and lived in Redwood City, CA.

Three years later she met the love of her life Michael Lawrence and followed to have four children. They enjoyed camping, lakes, rivers, fishing, traveling, and the outdoors together. Years later they moved to San Jose, CA.

Esperanza enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, dancing, walking, going for hikes, and gardening. Esperanza truly loved her grandchildren. Esperanza was a strong, respectful, and loving woman. Her cooking was amazingly delicious.

Esperanza was a widow, as her Husband Michael passed 8 years ago. Esperanza is survived by by her Daughter's Felicia Lawrence, Jacqueline Lawrence, Mercedes Lawrence, and her Son Michael Lawrence Jr. Along with three Grandchildren Izaiah, William, and Damien.

Esperanza is survived by her 5 Siblings;
Javier Cuevas, Jose Cuevas, Rocio Ramos, Guadalupe Cuevas, and Amparo Contreras. Deceased; Parents Father Guadalupe Cuevas, Mother Amparo Pulido, Brother Eustolio (Toyo) Cuevas, Sister Silvia Cuevas, and Aunt Leopoldina (Pola) Pulido. Esperanza is survived by many Nieces and Nephews. Esperanza was dearly loved by all and will be missed by so many.
