Erwin Grass passed away in his home June 1st 2024. He was born at Palo Alto Hospital son of German immigrants John and Emily Grass. He grew up on the peninsula graduating from Sequoia High school in 1947.  He served in the Army stationed in Alaska after the end of ww2 during the Korean war.

After serving he returned to California and got married to Dorothy Scrimshire. He ran a manufacturing business with his brother John until he retired in 1995. Erwin was widowed from his wife Dorothy of 70 years just over a year ago. The couple leaves behind five children and five grandchildren.

Erwin was a highly respected Tool and Die Maker, private pilot and model enthusiast.  He had a very sarcastic sense of humor, tons of love in his heart and not a mean bone in his body.  Erwin had a very child like spirit all the way till the day of his passing. He will always be loved and missed.
