Eric Esquivias Perez, 36, passed away suddenly on the 23rd of December, 2021. He was fighting a very long battle and for unknown reasons, his chance at recovery never came to fruition.

His big heart allowed him to care for so many souls who crossed paths with him. Regardless of his mental or physical state, he always was ready and willing to give back. Selfless is an understatement; Our Mother recalls when he showed up at her home recently after a walk, barefoot, because he said he saw "someone out there who was in need" of his shoes more than he was. These types of acts of kindness and his witty humor brought him to have many friends across his short lifetime. Though mostly known for his charm, he was quite the joker and always was the brightest smile in the room.  I'll never forget in 2008, him and I rode Splash Mountain in Disneyland four times in a row just to perfect our photo -which of course I cherish now more than ever.

He is survived by his daughter, his Mother and Father, and myself, his "baby" sister. May God hold you in his arms -full of love, light and peace, you can rest now Big Brother. Gone far too soon, we love you.
