Eric Michael McRae, age 28, died in a tragic traffic accident, February 6, 2022.

Born in Redwood City, CA in 1993, Eric is the son of Brian A. McRae and Maria L. McRae, and brother of Ryan McRae and Sarah McRae. Eric graduated from San Jose State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (Computer Electronics and Network Technology), and a Minor in Business.  Since graduating, Eric worked for Closet Factory where he was the Chief Engineer.

Eric excelled equally in both sports and academics, especially mathematics and the sciences, garnering admiration from many teachers and friends.  Eric shared his gifts as a self-employed math and science tutor, teaching elementary and college students.  Eric was also a computer and technology expert, and enjoyed gaming fun with his friends.

Eric participated in many team sports in school and his community.  Eric's skills in baseball, basketball and tennis earned him several tournament, championship and All-Star awards.  He also loved the outdoors, playing golf, boating, camping, motorcycling and skiing.

Eric was dynamic, fun-loving, charming and charismatic.  He will always be remembered for his zest for life, his outstanding athleticism, his sharp intelligence, his humor and wit.  Eric's life ended far too soon and he is very sadly mourned by all who knew him.

Eric is predeceased by his grandfather, Donald McRae, grandmother June McRae, and uncle Dean (Priscilla) McRae; as well as grandfather Arpinio Vicenzino, grandmother Teresa Vicenzino, and aunt Rosanna (Darcy) Ready.  Eric leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins in the US and Canada.
