DOROTHY AILEEN (COMMINS) SMITH
October 17, 1922 - February 27th, 2022

On February 27th, Dorothy Smith passed away in her home with family in Redwood City. Born October 17, 1922 in Oakland a graduate of St. Paul's High School (SF) then started her career at Standard Oil, also worked at the Emporium (in credit dept.) for over 20 years. Was a member of the NDGW (Twin Peaks #185 and Bonita Parlor #10) for over 79 years. Dorothy was a kind, humorous, and thoughtful soul.

She was committed to her family first and foremost. Married to her husband Harry M. Smith (deceased) just shy of 70 years. They started their life together in the Mission District before moving to Redwood City for the last 68 years. Mother of four children: Susan Ferreira (Jake), Don Smith (Vicki), Debbie TenBruggencate (Albert), and Donna Smith (David). Grandmother to Kevin (Sarah) and Jason Ferreira, Brent (Karina) and Drew TenBruggencate, and Eric and Joshua Smith. Great Grandmother to Eeva and Ezra TenBruggencate.

We would also like to extend our great gratitude to Malia Lambert for the many years of love and devotion she gave our Mom.
