Dorothea (Doris) Ilse Cline passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in Zweibrücken, Germany, she married William (Bill) Cline in 1957 and later that year relocated to the United States. Doris & Bill eventually settled in Redwood City, CA in 1968, where they remained.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Cline, and her parents. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Vaughan and family, and many dear friends who became like family, including Walter Boehringer and family, Heidi Hagenlocher and family, and Kareen Lambert and family.
Doris will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and enduring friendships.
A memorial service will be held at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, Redwood City, on September 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
