Passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 10th with his children and dear friend

Carol by his side. He was the youngest of four children and grew up on a farm

near Antler, North Dakota. He served in the USAF from 1958-1962 and rejoined

the family farming operation for four years upon his end of tour in the Air Force.

He then relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area to work for United Airlines, and

eventually retired from United after 33 years.

Don is survived by his children Tom (Michele), Tamara (Tom C.), Tim (Paula), and

Joe. His 6 grand children and 4 great grand children were a joy in his life.

A memorial mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Catholic Church

in Belmont, CA on June 26 at 11:00am with a reception to follow at St. Michael’s

Hall (on-site).
