Dan Gallinetti passed peacefully at home in Portola Valley on September 3rd 2026. Born in San Francisco March 9th 1937 to Pietro and Marie Gallinetti, Dan attended Sacred Heart High School and University of San Francisco. In 1958 Dan married his high school sweetheart Barbara Colombo and moved to Westlake then San Bruno where they raised their three daughters. Dan and Barbara owned and operated Woodside Deli for close to 50 years. A true family business as they worked along side of many family members. Dan loved people, playing cards, the 49ers, Italian everything, fishing, gardening and his 1955 Chrysler but his greatest love was his family. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Barbara, daughters Laura (Chris Boynton), Karen, Gina (Joe Carle). Granddaughters Kelcie Carle, Danielle Carle, Isabelle Boynton and Sophia Boynton. Great granddaughter Madelyn Lewis and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity
