Christy Lynn Robinson passed away suddenly on September 9, 2024 at home in San Francisco overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Christy grew up in Belmont graduating from Carlmont High School in 1975.
Christy was very artistic, singing & playing guitar, baking the family birthday cakes and Tole painting. With her great eye for color, Christy parlayed her hobby into working in the printing industry at Color Trend, then Service Litho Printing and finally at SLG Printing, LLC. After retiring from printing she chose to work for Alioto's Body Shop until her final retirement in the early 2000s.
Christy was an avid classic film viewer with a great memory for trivia, she enjoyed going to the "Best of Broadway" plays, being a member of the San Francisco Historical Society, helping her mother with her musical programs and handing out tickets at the Hillbarn Theatre in Foster City and of course, dining with friends. During her mother's later years, Christy became her caretaker, which was appreciated by her family.
Christy is survived by her siblings, Cindy Anne Golden, Pam Fabbri and husband, Greg Turney, Greg Fabbri and wife Ramona, Willard "Rob" A. Robinson III, Sherry Bostic & husband, Carl Metzger, beloved nieces and nephew, Enjolie Bostic-Sutton and husband, Don, Rachel Fabbri, Trevor Fabbri, Charlotte Golden, and great nephew & great niece, Dominik A. Zavala, Marina Fabbri, and 2nd cousin, Charles Smith. Christy is preceded in death by her parents, Willard A. Robinson, Jr. and Jeanette B. Robinson, step-mother Jacqueline Robinson and her beloved cats, Jet'aime and then her 15 year old cat, Midnight.
Christy was extremely proud of being able to donate over 10 gallons of blood in over 30 years, to Peninsula Blood Bank, then Irwin Memorial Blood Bank & finally to Vitalant.
A Graveside Service will be held on May 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Skylawn Memorial Park on Skyline Blvd. & Highway 92 in San Mateo. A Celebration of Life reception will immediately follow.
