On September 6, 2023 Cherell began her eternal life in heaven to join her beloved husband Bob and her son Tommy. Her children Robert Jr, Scott, Laurie Icenogle (Guy) and Krissy were blessed to be by her side. Born November 5, 1937 in San Francisco to George and Genevieve Ritzenthaler. Cherell was the cherished grandmother to Scott & Brooke Bassett, Chad & Luke Icenogle and Jake & Jamie Mangiola. Great grandmother to Brynnley, Isla & Reese Bassett, Hudson Standish and Axel Icenogle. Her devotion to her family, faith and church was the foundation of her life, she was a parishioner of St Matthias for over 54 years. Cherell was a Eucharistic Minister and loved volunteering in many aspects of her life. She enjoyed painting, crafting and nurturing her hummingbirds. A Memorial Mass Celebration will be held Sat Oct 14 at 11:00 at St Matthias 1685 Cordilleras Rd Redwood City CA.
