Obituary

Caterina Maestrini of Menlo Park died Tuesday December 21, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Caterina is survived by her daughter Anna Maria. Her grandchildren, Camille Guy Tinney and Alexander Guy; son-in-law Shane Tinney. Her great grandchildren, Luna and Madelyn

Caterina was born on May 5 th 1940 in Serra Santa A'Bonddio, to Reynaldo and Virginia Rossetti. As a young girl, she spent time in Rome babysitting. She loved children and the movies. She met her husband Armando in the nearby town of Acquaviva, Italy.

They were married on June 8, 1957 and eventually they made their voyage to the United States in January 1966.

Caterina was passionate about helping others. She was a landscape manager until she and her husband retired in 1998,

In her later years she spent a lot of time with family.

She was a member of The Italian Catholic Federation and St. Raymond's Church, all in Menlo Park.

In place of flowers; gifts in memory of Caterina may be given to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and S.P.C.A/The Palo Alto Humane Society.
