Caroline G. Monahan (Green) was born in San Francisco, Ca on August 23, 1926 to parents Ruth M. and Allen S. Green. She is preceded in death by her husband Tom of 50 years.  Beloved mother of three children, Veronica Cline (David), Marilyn Fields (Cliff), and Tom Monahan (Dan). She is grandmother to Jason (Laura) and Carrie (Christopher, great-grandmother to Aidan and Austin, sister-in-law to Joan Green and two nephews, Jim Green (Jami) and Jon Green. Caroline is preceded in death by her brother Dr. Allen Green.

Caroline earned her teaching credential and was very proud of her classroom experiences. While living in Belmont she taught school for 20 years. She also enjoyed participating in the Belmont Garden Club, and was actively involved with the Belmont library and served on the committee that was responsible for building the current library in Belmont.

Her last 16 years, Caroline lived at The Elms where she made many dear friends with the residents and staff.

A celebration of life will be held at the San Carlos Elms on Saturday, January 6, 2023 at 3:30 PM. 707 Elms Street, San Carlos, CA 94070.
