Obituary

Benjamin Turturici , a proud veteran, devoted husband, and cherished local businessman, passed away on January 31, 2026. He was a man known for his easy-going nature, his deep loyalty to his family, and a lifetime of friendships.

Military Service
A patriot at heart, Benjamin served as a Private First Class (PFC) in the 25th Infantry Division, 35th Regiment . During the Korean War, from July 1951 to May 1952, he served at Regiment Headquarters in the Message Center. As a jeep driver, he was on duty 24/7, ensuring vital communications reached their destination.
For his dedicated service, he was awarded several honors, including:
Combat Infantryman's Badge
• UN Service Medal
• Korean Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star

A Life of Work and Passion
Upon returning to civilian life, Benjamin became a fixture in his community as the owner of a men's clothing store for 35 years. His sharp eye for style was matched only by the genuine connections he made with his customers.
Outside of work, Benjamin was an avid traveler and a regular on the golf course. However, few things matched his devotion to the San Francisco 49ers. A faithful fan through every season, he traveled with the team during the 1990s, sharing in the excitement of their historic success.

Family and Legacy
Benjamin's greatest pride was his family. He shared 63 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Darlene, building a foundation of love that will last for generations.
He was the devoted father of three sons, Troy, Paradiso, and Chris. His legacy continues through his seven grandchildren: Anthony, Darren, Lindsey, Amanda, Jenna, Josh, and Amber; and his five cherished great-grandchildren: Giovanni, Preston, Peyton, Elissa, Taylor, and Van. Benjamin leaves behind a legacy of kindness, a calm spirit, and a reminder to always enjoy the journey.
