Anne Patricia "Pat" Wegner

 Anne Patricia Wegner, affectionately known as "Pat" to her family and friends, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the age of 89, in Santa Clara, California.

Born Anne Patricia Britschgi on July 25, 1937, to Leonard Valentine Britschgi and Mary Walsh Britschgi, Pat grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where her family established deep roots in Redwood City. She attended Mercy High School in Burlingame, California.

Throughout her life, Pat cherished her family and the many friendships she made along the way. She especially enjoyed spending time with those closest to her and treasured the relationships and memories that enriched her life. An avid Bay Area sports fan, Pat loved following her favorite teams and cheering them on through the years. Her warmth, devotion to family, and gift for friendship left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Pat is survived by her son, Len Wegner (Cathy); grandsons, Brian Wegner (Kathryn) and Michael Wegner; and great-granddaughters, Ellie and Isla Wegner. She is also survived by her sisters, Jeanne Gallagher and Eleanor Bernstein, as well as her nieces and nephews, Karen Sammons, Kathleen Sheridan, Kevin Gallagher, Mary K. Musich, Colleen Langridge, Maureen Arnott, Michael Bernstein, and Kerri Damm.

Pat's passing marks the end of a long and meaningful life, but her legacy lives on through the family she loved, the friendships she nurtured, and the countless memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 300 Fulton Street, Redwood City, California 94062.
