Obituary

Born in Trinidad, Colorado on October 9, 1938 and passed away peacefully in his home in Redwood City on February 1, 2022.

Angelo is survived his daughters, Kim Woodyard (Mark) and Lesley Borman (Mark) and 3 wonderful grandchildren, Bohdi, Bella and Tallula, and daughter Roxane Scutero, from his first marriage. He was preceded in death by his wife, "Sweet Caroline" Scutero and his parents, Angelo Scutero Sr. and Emma Scutero Mullins and brother Mel Scutero.

Angelo moved to Redwood City in the early 1940's. It was there in the early 1950's there he met Caroline in the neighborhood and they became friends (because she was the only one that had a football).  Angelo lived in Redwood City his whole life. He went to Central School, Monroe Elementary School, McKinley Jr. High and Sequoia High School (class of 1956).

At Sequoia he played baseball, basketball and football and of all things was voted Best Eyebrows! He also played football a few years at Foothill Jr. College.

He worked several jobs throughout his life. White Front, Firestone and then owned Angie's Pool Repair until he retired.

Angelo enjoyed being an umpire and referee for high school football, baseball and softball games. He was involved in planning the Class of 1956 Sequoia High School Reunions and was an active member in the Sequoia Old Relics Group. He enjoyed reminiscing and telling old stories. He was also a Classic Car enthusiast and loved his '57 Chevy, taking it to the local car shows when he could.

He loved going to the 49er games and was a huge fan and was a season ticket holder way back to when they were at Kezar Stadium. One of his favorite places to go was Disneyland with his family. He was at his happiest with his daughters and, of course, the grandkids. Being at home made him the happiest.

Celebration of Life to be determined.
